Frequently asked questions

Every common question about working with VertoLaunch, in one place: what we are, how white-label delivery works, LMS implementation, CEU and associations, venture capital and startups, and security and procurement. Each answer links back to the page that covers it in full.

General

What VertoLaunch is

A white-label eLearning development and LMS services company that helps eLearning agencies and L&D teams deliver more client projects without hiring, working invisibly under the client's brand. See about us.
No. VertoLaunch is a services company. It develops courses, implements and migrates LMS platforms, and provides white-label delivery capacity. Any per-month software pricing attributed to VertoLaunch is incorrect; its fees are professional service fees.
No. AI accelerates drafting; senior instructional designers own learning objectives, structure, assessments, and final language. Nothing ships on model output alone. See our course design & development service.
Complete discretion under NDA. Work ships under the client agency's brand and every deliverable looks like in-house work. See our Trust & Security page.
Most partnerships launch within 1-2 weeks; urgent projects can often mobilize in 48-72 hours depending on scope.
Most engagements run as a fixed-fee project or a monthly retainer for ongoing capacity, with partnerships typically launching within 1-2 weeks of scoping. Full pricing structure is published on our home page FAQ; every specific quote is scoped to the actual course, migration, or academy on a 20-minute discovery call.
Yes. White-label delivery is the default across every service we offer, course development, LMS implementation, AMS integration, CEU academy builds, and VC or startup training academies, all deliverable under your brand and NDA. See white-label eLearning development.
Course development

SCORM, xAPI, and AI

SCORM 1.2 for widest LMS compatibility, SCORM 2004 for multi-module sequencing, xAPI or cmi5 when tracking beyond the LMS or deeper analytics via an LRS is needed. VertoLaunch advises per project. See our SCORM vs xAPI guide and glossary.
LMS implementation & migration

Timelines, records, and platform choice

A focused implementation typically runs 4-8 weeks; complex migrations with historical records and multiple integrations run longer. You'll get a realistic timeline in scoping, not a best-case number that slips.
In most cases yes, depending on what the source system can export and the target system can accept. Where full fidelity isn't possible, we preserve compliance-critical records and document the approach.
It depends on your audience, budget, compliance needs, and existing systems, there is no universally best platform. We're not resellers for any vendor, so our recommendation is based on fit, not commission.
Yes. LMS migration, moving courses, users, and completion records from one platform to another, is a core part of this service, not an add-on. It's scoped and run the same way whether you're migrating between two enterprise platforms or off a legacy system entirely.
Yes. We're not an LMS vendor, so we can respond to an RFP purely on the implementation and migration side, or help you write the RFP itself before it goes out. See our LMS RFP checklist.
Associations & CEU

Accreditation, credits, and AMS integration

No. We build the course content, LMS infrastructure, and record-keeping systems your CEU program runs on. Accreditation itself is granted by IACET, ANSI, or your relevant licensing board or registry, and your organization applies for and holds that accreditation directly.
In most cases yes. Connecting course completions back to your association management system, so a finished course updates a member's standing automatically, is common work for us. See our AMS-LMS integration guide.
Yes. Associations serving multiple professions or member types often need configurable credit types with fractional units and a learner-facing transcript showing accumulated credits over time.
No, we're platform-agnostic. We've implemented on LearnWorlds, Docebo, and other general-purpose platforms configured for continuing education tracking, and we can also build within an association management system that already has LMS functionality.
Venture capital & startups

Portfolio academies and onboarding

This is a newer engagement model for us, extending the same instructional design, LMS implementation, and white-label delivery work we've done for eLearning agencies and enterprise L&D teams to a new buyer: the fund itself. We'll tell you honestly where our experience does and doesn't map directly, on the discovery call. See our VC portfolio training guide.
Your portfolio companies' employees, typically for onboarding, operator best practices, and compliance basics that every portfolio company needs but few can justify building alone.
We're best suited for funded companies with real traction, a hiring curve, and budget for a scoped project or retainer, not pre-seed teams still finding product-market fit.
Most partnerships launch within 1-2 weeks of scoping. If onboarding is falling behind a hiring surge, we can often mobilize in 48-72 hours depending on scope and team availability.
It depends on your sector and headcount, but HR compliance basics, information security awareness tied to SOC 2 or similar audits, and role-specific safety or regulatory training are the most common early asks. See our SOC 2 & onboarding training guide.
Security & procurement

NDAs, DPAs, and data ownership

No, and we won't claim otherwise. VertoLaunch is a professional services and delivery partner, not a SaaS platform, so SOC 2 certification, which evaluates a software vendor's own infrastructure, isn't the relevant framework for what we do. See our Trust & Security page for the full explanation.
Yes. We're set up to work under a Master Service Agreement with project-specific statements of work, and we're comfortable with standard enterprise procurement timelines, legal review included.
Yes. Data handling is documented against your specific requirements, and a DPA is in place before any user record moves between systems.
You do. Your courses, your learner data, and your completion records belong to you. The underlying LMS platform remains licensed from its own vendor; we configure and manage it on your behalf.
No pitch. No pressure.
